About Us
Welcome to Ev and Grow, a small business born from a love of crafting, creativity, and a passion for sustainability. I’m Evelyn, the maker behind the magic. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a creative soul, constantly dreaming up new ideas and finding inspiration in unexpected treasures. Crafting isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s a lifeline. As someone with ADHD who has also experienced depression, creating helps me quiet my mind, find calm, and bring joy to others.
By day, I work a 9-5 in the construction industry, but Ev and Grow is my creative outlet. It’s where I can pour my energy into making beautiful, unique items and express the artistic side that keeps me balanced and fulfilled.
The name Ev and Grow is inspired by the phrase “Eb and Flow,” a reminder of life’s ups and downs and constant comings and goings. It’s also a nod to my first name, Evelyn, and my commitment to growing this business, learning as I go, and staying true to my values: sustainability, creativity, and joy.
At Ev and Grow, I create unique pieces—from baubles and earrings to brooches—that are a little different from what you’ll find elsewhere. Many of my products feature vintage fabrics or Liberty London designs, turning forgotten materials into wearable or decorative art. I use fabric offcuts, thrifted treasures, and sustainable wood to ensure that each creation is as eco-friendly as it is beautiful.
I’m especially proud of working with small businesses to repurpose their fabric waste and hope to expand these partnerships in the future. I also offer DIY kits, complete with detailed instructions, so you can create your own earrings and baubles and experience the joy of making something truly unique.
Ev and Grow is never a solo effort. I have an incredible team behind me in the form of family and friends, especially my sister Millicent, who helps me at every market and craft fayre I attend. I genuinely couldn’t do it without the love and support from all those around me!
Looking ahead, I dream of seeing Ev and Grow stocked in department stores and becoming my full-time focus, so I can dedicate myself to creativity 24/7. With my notes app bursting with new ideas, there’s always something fresh and exciting on the horizon.
